Ok, I don't remember anything about this, because I'm still waking up (blah), but my vacation hold ran out while I was gone on a mini vacation while on vacation and no where near a computer, and I just had to send notes to 16 people who requested books, and now I have like 6 books on my wishlist, and a whole bunch more that where there, then the time ran out.

Do those books, with their time ran out, do I go back in line in the same spot? Do I go back in line at all? Or do I have to re add them and wait forever again for some of these? (Come on, I got a leather bound edition of Princess Bride waiting for me and I've been waiting a year for that! I don't want to wait again)

Please help?

Yep, sorry to be the bearer of bad news...if you don't respond to books on your wishlist, they are removed from your wishlist and you have to re-add them.  And you will be at the end of the line.  :(

I always put my vacation hold until several days after just incase . Also you can put your account on hold but put WL books on auto request.  If you don't have a lot of credits just put the ones that you are 1 or 2 on just incase.

But yeah, you lost your place in line and have to reWL or repost any book requests that you missed.  It'll remove books from your shelf if you let a book request time out. So you have to repost them and wait in line for those again.  With all those time outs, you're lucky they didn't deem you inactive and close your account.

Wow - I cannot believe PBS didn't put your account on hold with 16 orders timing out on you.

Put a vacation hold on for a longer period than you expect to be gone. You can always cancel it if you get back on time or early.  I would also say you really want to use Auto-Request and have credits available to get those WL books that you really don't want to miss.

Mary, I was on vacation hold until September 1st, so I don't think they would deem me inactive for not logging in for 5 days...I hope, lol. I thought I had put the hold on until October, but guess I was wrong. I'll just deal with re adding them all when I get home on Wednsday and hope for a speedy way through XD

I've also read like, 5 books on my tbr, but thank gawd I went to a ubs yesterday and grabbed about 10 more, 3 I know are wishlisted here, can't wait to get paid!

It wouldn't so much be the not logging on but the timed out transactions. Although they would be able to see that you were recently on vacation hold.
