Everyone is entitled to their opinions, yes? But book reviews- not really the best place to put your political beliefs... I was reading a book review and a woman had reviewed it, and then about halfway through the review of the book she posted a anti-gay link, and then continued with her review. Trying to be sneaky? I dunno. I think it was inappropriate.... this isn't the correct forum for that. Is there anyone to talk to about this?

Contact the PBS team ( help center, click contact the PBS team) with the book info and tell them about the review. I am sure they will take care of it.

If one member can post anti-gay links within a review, why can't the next member post a site for pedophiles?

After all, pedophiles thinks it's okay to ~make love~ (ewwww vomit) to a child, that's their perception of it, rather than molestation.

Opinions or discussions about sexual matters, politics, & religion are the three topics sure to start an argument.

So, no one posts links about these subjects, no one gets offended.

Ta da! Problem solved.

Wish it were so easy :)

The link was inapproprate NO MATTER WHAT. Further more - I would think that a political or religious or other possibly controversal opinion would be perfectly approprate if it was on topic to the book, and, otherwise, (as in this case), completely inapproprate.

I don't think that there should be any links in a book review.  Just my opinion though.

A book review (here at least) is supposed to be our opinion of the book after actually reading it! not a link to somewhere else!

If the opinion in the review is relevant to the book being reviewed it should stay.  If the opinion in the review is not relevant to the book, the review should be removed.  The opinions in the review should be the opinions of the reviewer and not someone else.
