I have no credits left , but a big wish list on auto-request. If a book on my wish list becomes available, will it skip me automatically and go to the next person in line or will it send me a message and ask me to buy a credit?

Thanks.smiley

It will still get offered to you.  It will be like a WL book that's not on auto-request where you will have 48 hours to accept it.  That way you'll have a couple of days to buy a credit.

I am being offered 2-3 WL books a week lately so I am glad I have the credits or I'd be in your shoes.

You are welcome, Elona!

I've been offered quite a few WL books but many of them have timed out before being marked mailed so I'm back to waiting on them again.

Elona - you are on Vacation Hold, you will not receive offers if you are out of credits, you will be skipped. The system only converts a Auto-Request to a 48-hour hold if it thinks you are available to accept it. As long as you are on Vacation Hold it believes you are away and can't respond to a 48hr hold so it will skip over you.

Malanie - Uh oh! Thank you very much for this information. I'll have to get a credit soon, then. I've got a wl a mile long and some books I've been waiting for up to four years! You never know when they appear.

I found that out a while ago and now when I don't want to send any more books out for a while I go to my bookshelf and put them on hold.  Works great when I am ready to spend more on postage I just release hold.
