What is the difference between a hot laminator and a cool laminator?

My guess would be that one requires heat to laminate and the other is something you can laminate with no heat.  There are the latter kind in places like photo shops and WalMart.  The come in a package and you just put the item to be laminated between 2 sheets of laminate and press to seal.

The hot laminator requires a special machine, which I'm sure you can find in any craft stroe like Michael's  and A.C. Moore.    HTH

Thanks for the info, Lee. I guess, then, you can use the cool laminator without any equipment. I'll look into that one. Thanks, again. Have a great day! Lisa
