*I posted this in the Bazaar, but so far nobody has responded. I figured someone here would surely know the answer.
Do these two series need to be read in order? I scored a few of the First North Americans books at Goodwill (Wolf, Sea, River), but they're not in order :( and I was wondering if they're stand-alone books in the series, or if I should try to get the others and read them in order. BTW, I had no idea there were so many of them when I bought these three, lol. Also, of the Earth's Children series, I have Clan of the Cave Bear and bought Plains of Passage at Goodwill, thinking it was the next in line. I see now there are more between these two and was wondering if this series also should be read in order.
Thanks so much! |

Read the Earth Children's books in order: Clan of the Cave Bear, The Valley of Horses, Mammoth Hunters, Plains of Passage, Shelters of Stone. I have only read a few of the First North American series but IIRC they can be read out of order. |

I agree on the Earth's Children series - read them in order. I don't know the other one, I'm sorry. |

Ok, thank you both! I'll plan to read the Earth's Children ones in order. Can anyone verify the First North Americans series? Thanks again!! |

Kelly, you can google Fantastic Fiction and input the authors name and they list series in order I find that site very helpful for that reason. |
