I have book that is requested from me that is a library discard and want to inform the person of such before sending it to be sure they want it.  How do I find a way to tell them?

You don't need to tell them; as long as the book meets the PBS guidelines, it's fine if it's also a library discard.  If the other person does not want library discards, they need to have Requestor Conditions saying so.

You don't know who's requesting the book until you accept the request.  Once you've accepted, you can PM the other member.  If you do PM them about the book being a library discard, be sure and give a deadline for them to get back to you.  Be sure you choose the farthest out mailing date also to give them time to get back to you.
