To all of the woman who have gotten married. Can you tell me if you had your wedding dress after your wedding. Would you use it for something else or just keep it in a cedar chest.

Mine has lots of lace on it and I was thinking about using the lace to put on another dress that I'm making for my sons wedding.

If you were me what would you do. I only have 2 sons and neither of their girlfriends want to wear it. They want to have their own dresses which I understand.

I don't really wanna sell it but thought maybe about using if for something else.

Any ideas.

Thank you for reading.

I think using it for something as special as your son's wedding is a wonderful idea! other than that, maybe it could be saved for a grand-daughter of the future.

My daughter couldn't wear mine so she asked me to take some of the lace and add it hers.  Then she had me add some of the lace to her daughters blessing dresses.  And had her Mother in Law use the beads from her wedding dress on them also.

Using part of  it for your son's wedding is a great idea.

THank you. My son said that it would make him feel like my dad was there by me using some of my wedding dress for my dress for his wedding. My Dad is gone he passed in 1991. Just after this son was born. so I thought that his sentiment was nice and made me feel good.

Thank you for your comments.
