My mother is considering sunbscribing to the Quia site for my sister who homeschools. You can see the faq and the helps, but not the page, before you subscribe. Does anyone use this site and have feedback?

How many kids does your sister have?  Since this site is really designed for classrooms, I'm not sure I would have used this site enough to make a subscription worth it.  There are a lot of free worksheets online.

If it's the puzzle-making ability she'd use, try this site: http://www.discoveryeducation.com/free-puzzlemaker/?CFID=12508129&CFTOKEN=42782063  I used to use it to make word searches to match my science lessons and spelling lists.

Another favorite location that helped me with science worksheets was this site: http://www.enchantedlearning.com/label/

I haven't used the Quia site, so I can't give you first-hand experience.  However, I would say that unless your sister has asked for a membership as a gift, she might rather get a gift card she could use for curriculum or supplies (Amazon, Rainbow Resource, or a local book store).
