I had been using printable postage with quick credit and getting my credit as soon as I marked my book mailed. Today I tried using just the DC (not custom, but the choice you have when you print the wrapper) but i didn't get my credits when I clicked the books mailed. When you use it is says it costs 27 cents for Quick Credit though, so I'm confused. Anyone know whats going on?

Stephanie,

There's a difference between Quick Credit using PBS DC and Instant Credit using PBS postage/DC.  Instant Credit (only available if you use PBS postage/DC) occurs when you mark the book mailed.  For Quick Credit, you have to wait until USPS scans your books somewhere along the route and transmits that info to PBS.

I use the quick credit all the time.  I USUALLY get my credit once it is scanned in at the Post Office after I take it in to be mailed.  I do know that others either drop it in the blue box, in which case it may take a couple of days for the quick credit to show up...depending on when the book is scanned into the system.

Hmm, I didn't realize there was a difference between the 2 options. Thanks!
