Okay so I found it...now I have another question...do I need to print out the label/wrapper or whatever? B/c I don't have a printer. :( I thought I could just send it like I normally do when I sell things on ebay?

You can hand-write the address, no problem.  Click on the "Print Wrapper" button, then on the next page, at the bottom there is a button for "If you need to hand-write the address, click here."  That will take you to the address.

Welcome to PBS!  I haven't been here long myself, but it's been great so far!

Welcome to PBS Brenda!

FYI - There's a little grey button in the top toolbar that says Help Center if you need basic instrustions. Of course you're welcome to ask questions here, that's what this forum is for, or ask your Tour Guide or Live Help too. I just wanted to give you as many resources as possible since you're new here. I hope you enjoy it here!

Thanks! I'm finding more and more things on here. LOL

I always go to my local thift store and pick up books there. It'll be great to get some books that I know other people will be interested in reading but that I'm not. (like Harry Potter and such...I always see those but I have no interest in reading them. LOL) and then I can get books I *do* want to read! yays!

Yep, that's a great way to get more credits! Just be sure the books meet PBS Guidelines (also listed in the Help Center, lol)

I just got back from the post office. Only cost $3.85 or something to send the two books out! Now I'll be able to get two books soon! And I put in a request for my first book from here as well! Eve's Apple I've been wanting to read that one for a while.

Before you go out a buy a bunch of books you're not interested in reading just to post here: do some research. Many people do this and end up gettign books cheap but ones that are heavily posted to PBS-then they get upset when no one orders them.  PBS works on a FIFO basis so if you post that 300th copy of a James Patterson best seller-it might sit on your shelf for awhile.  They do eventually get ordered but it can take a long time for some.

So you might want to do some seaching on the website and see what's WL.  Obviously you can't print the whole club WL out but you can get some ideas.

Good idea! My book collection seems to be selling pretty well so far. LOL 3 books in like 12 hours! I usually get like memiors and such. And self help books...medical books...diet/recipe books...I have lots of love stories that my grandmother gave me too. I don't know if they'll sell but they were free and I don't want them.

I get plenty of books that are listed and I still trade them in either 2 or 3 for 1 deals or BOBs or sometimes it's a different edition then what everyone else is posting.

BOB is Box of Books . It's how you can trade books on here without using your credits. Scroll up to the toolbar and look under Community for Box of Books. When you open it on the left hand side in grey it'll say "What is Box of Books" and you can click on that and it tells you all about it.

I never buy book sale books just to post here unless I'm sure its a sought after book. I usually buy them for myself and then post them here after I read them. Then if no one wants it, at least I got some use out of it.

Okay I have another question. How do I add books to my Wishlist? I've been trying to figure that out.

Here you go Brenda...again, this is taken from the Help Center above in the toolbar in grey. Most basic answers can be found in the Help Center:

In order to add a book to your Wish List:

  • The book must be currently UnPosted (= unavailable to request) at PBS.

    • A currently available book cannot be added to a Wish List.

  • The book (ISBN) must be known to the PBS database.

    • A non-ISBN item may be added to a Wish List, but doing this is not very effective.  Why not?

To add a book to your Wish List:

  • Click on any listing for a book that is currently unavailable to request in the PBS database.
read about how to find books in the PBS database here.

There is a limit of 200 items on each member Wish List.

BTW, PBS is updating the WL (not sure when yet) so that you'll be able to put more books on your WL then 200.

No problem Brenda, I just point it out because a lot of new members don't realize it's there and it's just a really simple and quick answer to most questions on here. Of course you're welcome to post questions here or ask your Tour Guide or Live Help. That's what we're here for!
