I'm thinking of getting some of her books but I've never read her before. Should I invest the $$$$?

I recently read Laid Bare and I thought it was an awesome book!  Hot sex scenes and a great story to go along with it.  I read one of her Witches Knot stories too and that one was great also.  Those are the only two I've read although Undercover has been on my TBR pile for a while.  I do have a bunch of hers WLd because I've enjoyed the books of hers I have read.

In my opinion, the series starting with Laid Bare and the series starting with Undercover are better in terms of writing and character development (probably because they are longer works), but I have read almost everything of hers and enjoyed it all!

ETA:  She has excerpts on her web site -- be sure you stop by there and read those first. I like excerpts. They are a good way to test drive a new author. It's www.laurendane.com.

I've read a few of hers and liked them. She's not an autobuy for me but then with my huge TBR not many authors are. I'm at the point where I usually only buy new if I need a series book that's WL and I'm up to that #.

If you are unsure but thinking of buying some new-jsut get one and WL the others.

I didn't care for Undercover much because I'm not into the m/m thing.  But I liked Coming Undone and Giving Chase.  There was a bit of m/m in Coming Undone but not that much.

I read the Chase brothers series & Laid Bare. I don't like the m/m stuff so i won't be reading her again. The Chase brothers was ok. but the guys were just to much your average guy. I remember one kept saying "Golly". Completely turned me off. I'm going to try the Wolf series & hope i like them.

I am not the biggest fan. In terms of the stories she writes, I prefer Bianca D'Arc, Jaci Burton, Maya Banks, etc over her but at least her heroines dont have a running faucet between their legs like Lora Leigh. I actually dont find her all that erotic and more dry in writing style.

Thanks for the feedback, ladies. I'm going to use my Borders coupon(s) as they come in and give Dane a try. My library can access only a couple of her titles so I'll finagle around.

She's OK in my book.  Some better than others.  I don't read M/M so I can't comment on those.

Interesting comment on Dane. I went to my indie bookseller to pick up some of my July order; I looked around to see if she had any Lauren Dane books - she said they go out as fast as they come in. I don't know when Dane's newest book came out, but Pam didn't have any new Danes either.

Seton: I'm starting to glom Maya Banks. First read her through one of heer Silhouette Desires and really liked her writing style. Just got one of her trade eroticas from here last week.

(...running faucet indeed.....nearly shorted my keyboard reading that line....haven't read Lora Leigh yet)

LOL!  That's the funniest thing I've read in quite a while.

I have to stick my head in with a thumbs up for Lauren Dane. GREAT books, I can never put them down once I start.
