Ray Bradbury passed away on June 5th. After hearing about his death, I finally got around to reading one of his story collections that has been on my shelf for a couple of years. I always enjoy Bradbury and this collection was no exception. While I enjoyed some of the stories more than others, overall I would highly recommend this collection. I especially liked "Another Fine Mess" about the ghostly doings of Laurel and Hardy, "Quicker Than the Eye", about a quick sideshow pickpocket, "The Finnegan" about a possible giant trap-door spider, and "The Other Highway" about a family who takes a trip onto an old disused highway into a bypassed town. These stories are full of nostalgia and magic and many such as "Exchange" emphasize Bradbury's love of books and reading.
If you love Ray Bradbury, you\'ll enjoy this book of short stories.
Nice collection of his short stories
Bradbury never fails to delight, with his wonderful stories and endless imagination. His stories can be humorous, nostalgic or chilling. He is still a master or fantasy at the top of his game.
