I very much enjoyed this book. A clever cross between the-man-on-the-run-hides-out-with-woman-hostage and a very hunky ET. Futureistic Science fiction set on earth in the present time. Christine Feehan reviewed this book on Amazon.com stating that she so liked Jan Zimlich that she went searching out all Zimlich's books and had a difficult time finding this one, but well worth the search. This is a reissue by Dorchester.

Upon discovering the beautiful, water-rich, jewel-blue planet, telepathic Savanian Commander Aayshen Rahs decides to personally pilot the reconnaissance shuttle to Earth. In a plot identical to the TV series "The Visitor," the 'aliens' get shot out of the sky & find unexpected refuge in the greenhouse of divorcee Laura Malek, her son & grandpa--until the next shuttle comes to rescue them. Meanwhile, the U.S. Military's top secret EBE (Extraterrestrial Bio Entity) Team relentlessly pursues the aliens.

Sparked the 1997 television series "The Visitor."

It reminded me of one of my favorite movies, "Starman", with Jeff Bridges and Karen Allen.
Ms. Zimlich manages to create wonderful believable characters from other worlds and weave an exciting tale.

How well do we know ourselves? What would you do? Laura Malek lived in a sleepy little rural town in Missississpi.
Suddenly a good looking guy with a funny sidekick drops in. You know he is different, not human but human in looks.
Delema: Do you feed them? House them? HELP them! Interfere with the police, the government?

Read a good book and find out what happens to the visitors to our planet.
