I don't think there is until it goes to your transaction archive.  I would think you are fine. I have a plastic wrap condition and a poly mailer fits the definition IMHO. as long as it is covered in something water proof I think the receiver will think you followed the RC. I've also had a few miss it completely, but the books arrived safely and understood that RCs are gone one the book is accepted so some people may forget.
