Dorothy Puente, the subject of the book The Bone Garden by William P. Wood, died yesterday. Dorothy was a grandmotherly type person who killed 7 men and buried them in the back yard.

Just finished The Bone Garden. Interesting story but the trial was way too detailed. Strange how Dorothea got away with her crimes for as long as she did.

Heck no! Who would think a little old white haired Granny would be a murderer!

I think what amazed me most was that no one was charged with being an accomplice. She couldnt have buried those people by herself.
