About a month ago I received a book that had water damage.  I sent a PM to the sender and waited the week as advised by PBS rules.  I then marked the transaction "not settled-no response from sender", and it said that they would send a PM to the sender.  That was about two weeks ago, and I have not heard anything back.  Has anybody ever had this happen?

You have done all you can do at this point.  It used to be that we could send in feedback to the site owners, but not anymore, you have to do what you have done through your transaction archive.

Thanks, I'll try that.  I just thought that it was weird to not hear back from PBS after I marked that the dispute was not resolved.

If your PM to the member requested a response, and you didn't hear back, then after a week you can send feedback to the PBS Team, telling them that the member is unresponsive.  They'll check to see if the account is still active.

To send feedback, click on, don't hover over, the Help Center, choose "Contact the PBS team" and use the "feedback" option.

Normally, they don't get involved in a dispute.  But they'll check in if someone is not responding.

And just a note for future reference: You can't undo marking a problem "unresolved," so I generally wait until there's no more hope before I do that. :-)

You've done what you can to let PBS know that this member isn't even resonding to your PMs about the problem.  The Help Center says "The only follow-up option which allows further follow-up to be submitted is "Sender did not respond to PM"   so you should be able to do further follow-up to let PBS know that the person still hasn't responded.
