I received a book that had ink marks on multiple places, including the cover and then on a couple of the text pages.  Only 1 of the pages the ink mark was on the text all the others it was in the margin.  In addition there is other staining on the first two nontext pages.  Because this was not a deal breaker for me just sad because I can't now repost I marked it RWAP but did not ask for my credit back.  It has been 7 days and the person has not responded at all.  Do I mark it no response?  Does the sender think they don't have to respond because I didn't ask for a credit back?  I am not sure what the appropriate thing to do in this case is.

Thanks

You must ask for a response back if you want a response.  If you didn't clearly ask for a response, then you should not mark as Unresponsive because they haven't responded.  If you asked for a response, then yes, you should mark as No Response since a week has gone by since you sent message.

What Sianeka said  yes

I've been in your situation a couple times Amber, and have learned the hard way to determine what I want from a RWAP before logging in the RWAP.  If I'm not asking for a credit return, I might only be looking for a polite response and confirmation that the other member will be more careful or has re-read the swapability guidelines.  But if I do not indicate I wish for a response, it's probably not fair to further penalize them for not doing so.

If you ask for a response and have not received one, then yes after a week you should mark the RWAP 'no response'.

You can send another PM from your transactions archive (on your My Account menu).  Clarify what you want.  Then wait for a response.

How do you indicate you want a response?  I ordered two books from one person one book  arrived the other didn't.  I emailed her about it before I marked it RWAP.  Now that I have marked it RWAP she won't respond.  The book that never arrived is still marked as pending delivery.

The other book should stay pending delivery until you mark it as received.  So if you never get it, it will go lost and you will get your credit back.

You tell the other member you want a response by telling them you want a response in your message.   I usually use something along the lines of "if I don't hear back from you by (date) I will do XXXX"

Thank you Alisa.  I thought maybe I was doing it wrong when I Pm'd her.
