Elizabeth Boyle is one of my favorite authors, but unfortunately this wasn't one of her great books. It moved way too slowly. If you are a fan of Elizabeth Boyle, like I am, you probably won't want to miss it. I just can't give it my whole-hearted recommendation.
Sweet story involving a reformed rake, a ruined society girl turned deportment teacher, and three matchmaking schoolgirls. Always nice to find a regency that doesn't take place in London so points for that, but I'm taking away a star for getting the actual romance going so late in the book! (Less intrigue! More sex!)
I read this series out of order, this one last. I think it's my second-favorite. I liked Mad Jack and thought Miranda was a strong heroine. This was not a very steamy book. I thought the others were a bit more steamy but the romance was sweet and the secondary characters very enjoyable.
