I wish the story had been longer; I enjoyed it that much. DEA agent Steve is running for his life from his partners, who have gone rogue. They'll kill him and anyone he's with if they can find him. Jess Randall drags him to safety and then realizes she must keep him from danger until he heals from his wounds.
