I was just wondering if anyone has read any books by Yasmine Galenorn? I have 3 of her "Sister's of the Moon" series and have not read them yet, but was wondering how good she is? Just looking for some input.

I've read them but do not care for them.  I find them rather annoying.  The only reason I kept reading is b/c my sister insists they are good....I keep wondering what she is seeing that I don't!

I don't mind it.  It is not in my top ten list, but it is not the worst I have ever read either.  I keep reading them, and the characters have started to grow on me.

I liked her paranormal cozy series so much better. It's a shame that she isn't going to continue that.

I started the series but never made it through the third chapter of the second book.  After that I posted them.  BUT, my mom just picked up the complete series a week ago, read them all back to back and LOVES them.  She likes the light and funny ones much more than I do.  I found myself annoyed by the characters and the writing style, but my mom really enjoys them.

So--I guess I'm no help at all am I!  ;oP

I've read the first 4 books and enjoyed them.  Not my all time favorites but I'll continue to read the series.

I struggled through the first one, and didn't read anymore of them.

I read the first 4 books of that series. I don't really like Camille too much, but Delilah is my favorite character.  I only really enjoyed her book so far, and Menolly...well I can't decide whether I like her or not. I'm still continuing to read the series, only because I like the concept and storyline...just not really the characters themselves. I want to find out what happens.

I thought Darkling (Menolly) was the best in the series.  I liked her rough around the edges but soft interior character.  Camille I'm not so crazy about and it was a struggle to get through the first book.  Delilah's book was so-so.  I could have happily skipped the first two in the series and gone straight to Darkling..but then I would've been totally confused because you need to read each book in order.  I read Changeling first and was totally lost.  I have Dragon Wytch and though I'm halfway looking forward to continuing the series, I wish it wasn't another Camille book!
