This whole-book companion is a wonderful addition to an anthology-driven curriculum although it is not meant to replace a full-fledged Engilsh course. It also is a helpful supplement to the SAT and College Preparation for the Christian Student (1998). Most youths, while pursuing a regimented reading program, appreciate a guide to superior classics.
