I don't know what possessed  me to click on into the craft forum as I never ever come here.  Fate? Destiny? Serendipity? Coincidence?

But I have a craft challenge to do and I have to use buttons.

I have a great button collection and think I will make a few and see how they come out. It might be fun to have them for the christmas card exchange on PBS. i was in the exchange last year and it was a lot of fun. Several people put surprises in the christmas card.

Thanks Wings for the link!  They ARE cute and I have buttons galore.  I have grandkids who are bookworms...gotta make some for them.

This is a great little craft.  I've finished two, have two more drying, and two in the assemble phase.  I have to say it's a good thing I have a craft room because the buttons take up most of the table space at this time.

Tammy, I know what you mean about having a craft room.  Mine has expanded to cover almost the entire basement.

I love the idea of having a basement for several reasons but I just can't convince myself to get in the crawl space and dig it out by hand.  I guess I'll have to be more frugal with my crafting space.
