Thea comes from a stuffy Boston family and Damon is a biker/construction contractor. She comes to Montana to claim her inheritance from her favorite aunt which is a large Victorian home that Thea wants to turn into a B&B. Damon has been helping Thea's aunt and her will states that he can have his portion of the inheritance but she knows he'll do the right thing (which is to use it to do the work necessary on the home.) The hometown people see Damon as no good and the tourists who have homes there know he's a good contractor since he built their summer homes. He lets everyone think what they want. I just didn't care for this author's "style" because it seemed Damon was angry all the time for no reason. Thea was too prissy for my taste but wanted to show him that all his friends cared for him. At a council meeting for a variance for her B&B, Damon said she betrayed him and they barely spoke for 4 months even though they worked together on the house. Suddenly, one day they discovered they "loved" each other and it was HEA.
