Wrapped in the PBS wrapper with may address using DC.  The sender is using PBS address as the return so I don't know who sent this to me.  I only have one DC conf book coming right now and the DC #'s don't match.  I have the request ID on wrapper but I don't see where I can look this up anywhere in my transactions.  Help!  I need to know who sent it and what book it really should have been.  How can I do that? Thanks.

Hmmm, a mystery!  I don't know of a place where request IDs are listed.  I just checked my transaction archive and it wasn't there.  Have you had any books go "lost" recently?  Maybe this was a book you ordered awhile back that went lost and you forgot about it?  The other possibility is that someone sent it to you as a gift.  I think there is some language in the insert about a buddy sending you this book, so check that.

Ok, I figured it out.  I looked at the postmark to see where book came from.  When I looked at books en route to me I saw where I actually had 2 books with DC coming.  Only one was from the postmark city so I have emailed her.  She probably mixed up the wrappers.  I wonder why the Transaction ID doesn't show up anywhere so we can see it.  I think that would be a good function to have.  I actually have several books coming my way and several from the state where this book is postmarked.  If it weren't for the DC I would of had to PM all of them and try and figure out who sent it.

I'm glad you found it. Another place to look is the 2nd page of the wrapper (or lower half of the one page wrapper) if it's included. That will give the name of the sender and book title.

Good suggestion Cathy but she only included the one sheet of the double wrapper.  She obviously does not want us to know who she is!  LOL

If that's not it, definitely contact PBS.  They're terrific at solving these mysteries!  I think they can take the transaction id and see who the sender was for you.
