Did you check your transaction archive? I bet Marion didn't mark it mailed in time; the system timed out her request and you now have one coming from Jocelyn....I bet you will find Deadly Game on your list with a red X over it....

I just discovered the same thing happened to me. Why does someone post a 2-for-1 offer in the Book Bazaar, then not follow through with it? Really pi$$es me off...

Don't  be so hasty to jump to conclusions. Sometimes, unexpected life events happen without warning. We just had a death in the family and another family member hospitalized. On top of all that, everyone in my household has been extremely sick the past two weeks, so I have been going to three different doctor's offices and two different pharmacies trying to get us all well again. I've spent the last half-hour PMing apologies to people letting them know their packages will be arriving late. Thankfully, all mine were BOB transactions. I did have a dvd order cancelled on SaDVD, though. I'd say, if they are a member in good standing, try to be understanding and patient.

I've had instances where I've made deals with others, and they have been cancelled for one reason or another, and the system automatically ordered from the next person in line. It was really frustrating, and I ended up with multiple copies of the same title a couple of times. I learned that I have to be really proactive in recognizing the error and cancelling those orders quickly.

It helps to PM the person making you the deal letting them know that if the transaction needs to be canceled to have them PM you, and you cancel the order instead of them. That way, you don't automatically get bumped to the next title in line. Many people on these sites don't realize that happens.

Good luck! Rita.

I offered the book on "Is this on your wishlist".  The person I offered it to was not interested in a hardcover book.  On 7/11 I got a pm from Jane asking if I still had the book and could she have it.

Told her to put it on her wishlist and I would post it to her.  She indicated she would rather just mail me her address and transfer me a credit.  Not a problem.  I got her address and mailed the book to her.  She did pm me yesterday to let me know that she got a book from me that should have gone to someone else. I referred her to her 7/11 e-mail, which she did read and apologized for the confusion.
