I received my first book sealed with the infamous Press n' Seal today.  I don't want to RWAP it unless I have to (and I want to make sure to remind her not to use it, either), but how do I get all the sticky stuff off?  Since I have cats it's already attracted all the cat hair I have in my house so it's getting quite nasty.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!

I would mark it RWAP.   The wrapping instructions specifically tell us not to use Press & Seal.     The only thing that I can think of to get the sticky suff off of the book cover would be Goo Gone, and it would take a fair amount of it.

I use Un-Du..it's excellent  and doesn' t take alot. It has a litle scraper thing on the lid too. It won't hurt the paper either.

I would also mark it RWAP since it is specifically against the rules to use it.  If you want to try to get the sticky stuff off and salvage the book thats fine, but it should still be RWAP even if you don't ask for your credit back.

Thanks for the help everyone!  I've marked it as a RWAP but didn't ask for my credit back, and I will try to get this gooey stuff off now!
