I received the incorrect book. This hasn't happened before. I marked it received w/ a problem. I wish I would have read this before and would have know to mark it not received. I've already contacted the trader and told her of the problem and requested my credit back. What happens next/what should I do?

Christy, you've done what you could.  Now it is up to your Sender to get back to you.  She may have mixed up the wrappers on a couple of books she was sending out, and she may ask you to forward your book to the proper recipient.  (She should reimburse you for postage costs if she does, usually by giving you an additional credit in addition to returning your credit.)  Or she may just return your credit, and the book is still yours to do with as you wish, keep or repost.  You are under no obligation to return it to her, nor to forward it anywhere, that would be done solely at your discretion.

She should get back to you within a week.  If she is non-responsive, site guidelines recommend you then contact the team.

If she mixed up the wrappers, and both receivers are willing to send the book to the other recipient, then the proper thing to do is for the sender to give each of you 1 credit (not 2) to cover the postage to mail the book to the proper recipient. When you get your book from the other receiver, you would mark it "Marked RWAP by mistake" if the book is not damaged. If the book is indeed damaged, then it would  be appropriate to ask for your original credit back.

Sara is correct, you would not ask for return of your credit unless you were not receiving the proper book from another member.  You -would- ask for return of your credit for the book if you were not getting your original request sent to you.

This just happened to me today too. I have contacted the sender but haven't heard from her yet.

I wonder if you have the book I requested!
