A book that had been marked as Lost finally showed up here.  I marked it as received and a credit was given to the sender.   Does the sender now have 2 credits for this book, or did she lose my credit when it went Lost?

Victoria--

If she didn't use PBS postage, then she wouldn't have received a credit until you marked the book received.

If she did use PBS postage, she would have already received the credit when she marked the book mailed and the system would not give her another credit when you marked the lost book received.

No the sender does not receive 2 credits.  If the book was mailed without PBS DC, the receiver only gets the credit after the book is marked received.  PBS DC is handled differently, but still only involves 1 credit regardless if it's marked received from your homepage or transaction archive.

PBS postage was not used, so I am glad that she gets a credit for the book.  And, I am glad that I had to mail out a book this morning, so I had a credit to send to her!

Victoria, from what I understand...even if you did not have the credit, it still would have been subtracted from your account.  You just would have been listed as having -1 credits.  It works as the same way as the WL temporarily over 200 deal does (but in reverse)
