regular audio discs must have set off a fire storm of people putting RCs in regarding this problem, as just this week I've had requests for 4 Audio CDs, and everyone had an RC regarding not wanting MP3 discs, and I don't remember ever seeing this many before. Pat

Well, that's a good thing.  Anything that helps people get exactly what they want and can use is good.

Interesting.  The ISBN is different for the Audio CD vs. the MP3 CD.  Don't see how the two can mix.  I just sell my Mp3 audiobooks because nobody requests them.  That's fine, my feelings aren't hurt. People want what they want.

I love MP3 audiobooks but not everyone's car can play them.  Unfortunately the isbn is not always different.

I keep forgetting that people play these in the car. My CD player works great, but with an 18 year old mini-van, the road noise is so loud, I can't hear it.  So, I just move the books to the ipod and put a Jabra one ear speaker in my ear.

My car only has a CD player, but I have a small (3"x3"x1") portable speaker that is exceptionally good for something this small.  It's bluetooth, but also can be connected to my Sansa MP3 player by cable.  I just hook it up and either toss it on the passenger seat or hang from the visor - it has a short strap that snaps together.  Plenty of volume to hear over traffic or (my) car noises.

And Linda L. is correct - lots of publishers use the same ISBN for regular CD editions and the MP3.
