I did a deal for 4 for 1....the one i got with my credit shows water damaged and mold on the inside front cover ......one of th freebies shows water damage and staining, the other two seem ok,but i am leary since they were mixed in with the moldy book.

Should i expect  to get my credit back,or since i have 2 books that looks ok/although i plan on trashing them i should just not be concern about getting a credit back?

I already messaged the sender ,but haven't heard back, in my message i didn't request a credit back, hoping they would offer, but what if they don't??This is my first time with an unpostable book.Hope i am handling it correctly.

They posted a book that was unpostable so yes, it's a RWAP.  You certainly have the right to ask for your credit back, if that is what you want.  Having a deal, unless it's specifically for UNpostables, does not mean they can send you unpostable books.

So should i add another message asking for the credit,or wait till the sender respond???..........and its ok although 3 freebies was sent along???......one freebie is also unpostable like i stated above.

I just don't understand why someone would send a book in this condition, don't they realize the recipient won't be pleased??

Now what if they refuse to refund the credit??

They probably sent it hoping you would be feeling exactly the way you're feeling right now, and would not complain.

The book is unpostable no matter what she gave you for free. Even if you do not want to ask for your credit back, it really should still be marked RWAP.

ETA: If they refuse to refund your credit, all you can do is mark the transaction as "unresolved." Unless they admit to the damage. Then you could contact TPTB and hope they will intervene.

Yes, if you want your credit back you need to ask for it back.  I'd personally, wait a day or so and see if she offers it and then ask.  But you don't have to wait for a response if you'd rather noe.

If this book was on their bookshelf, I'd RWAP and state the book was moldy. So it's in there record if it becomes a habit.

If you want your credit back you must ask.
