I have read Charlain Harris, MaryJanice Davidson and Erin McCarthy...I would love to find more
I asked a very similar question in the paranormal forum a while back and got tons of recommendations..the post may be on the 2nd page or so by now.
Kerrelyn Sparks was a recommendation I got from Ellen..they're nice romances with some funny moments.
Kathy Love's young brothers (fangs for the memories, fangs but no fangs, i only have fangs for you, my sister is a werewolf) were good but thought the first 2 were the best.
erotic romance or borderline this genre(fairly hot and funny) shelly laurenston's the mane event. I have the next 2 in my tbr but I've read the mane event and it has 2 related stories and is funny. not vampire but shapeshifters(lion, wolf)
I have more recs in my tbr but those are the ones I've actually read...I also read 2 others that were ok-good but just not my cuppa entirely because the vamps weren't necessarily in a deathsleep during the day - bitten & smitten(funny/silly but not much of a romance imo) and happy hour at casa dracula.
oh, a funny werewolf story is the accidental werewolf by dakota cassidy - hysterical. there's a sequel that I think is 'accidentally dead' and another lined up 'accidentally human' haven't read any but the first but it was funny as all get-out.
http://www.paperbackswap.com/forum/topic.php?t=138595 maybe this link will work to that thread in the paranormal forum.. I also have amanda ashley's vampire romances and lynsay sands' argneau series(part of it anyways) in my tbr...

You could try the the Broken Heart Oklahoma books by Michele Bardsley. They are funny :) The first one is I'm the Vampire, That's Why and there's 4 in the series so far, with #5 to come out in May of 2009.
ETA: Emily and I think alike...and post at the same time too :)

If you like Shifters, you might try Shelley Laurenston: Pack Challenge, The Main Event, and The Main Attraction. They are all great. And, she writes about dragons, under the name G.A. Aiken: About a Dragon, and Dragon, Actually.
