Has anyone read the Red Hat Club by Haywood Smith?  This is the first book by this author that I've read.  It reminded me a bit of Lorna Landvik's style.  It was funny and had an interesting plot.  I really enjoyed it.

I've read this and a couple of others by her.  Loved them!  I sometimes need a fun, just for laughs type of read.

I just recently read The Red Hat Club. And loved it! The Red Hat Club Rides Again is in my TBR pile. I like to lighten up occasionally also. I'm usually reading a mystery or thriller.

I think I have that one still on my list, and a guidebook for getting involved with the Red Hats.  I'm not going to have time to spend on the message boards soon, as school starts again.  I'm a midlife student

I read the first two and they were fun reads. Sometimes you need to read something that makes you smile and these did it for me.

I haven't read it but love Lorna Landvik.  Thanks for the recommendation, I'll pick it up!
