This book is not a storybook but rather a rhyming, sound, color and counting book. My 2 year old son loves trains and loves this simple book. On each page a new color and style of number train is presented with new animals in it up to train number 10. The illustrations are more cartoon-like, but colorful and bright. My son has had it from the library so many times we got our own copy!

this is a wonderful book. It encourages number recognition, counting and learning of colors.
