I loved this entire series. These were the first Karen Kingsbury books I've read. She has a way of telling a story, making the reader involved. I felt like I knew the characters, I was right there with them, and I cried when they cried and laughed when they laughed.

This book is all about a family experiencing real life joyful and sorrowful experiences. The key is God's grace and redemption working through them and their love for each other. They are not perfect characters nor are the outcomes what you might always expect. I enjoyed the realistic quality of this book showing how our choices affect our future but God can take any mess and make something beautiful of it:)

Reading about the Baxters and their struggles, has been inspiring. They are shown with all their faults and how they deal with them. I'm enjoying this series and I can see where Gary Smalley's influence has only improved the stories!
This book grabs you from the first page and doesn't let you put it down until the end. I have now read all of the Redemption series and am working on the Sunrise series, which follows.

This was definitely a five star book. It was fantastic! It leaves you hooked though so you might want to have the second book available before you finish. That way you can keep on reading. It was a great start to the series and I couldn't wait to read the second.
Wow, Karen Kindsbury gets us all again. This is the first book I read, which led me to read as many as I could. It was a great journey.

This ist he first book of a series that is in 3 parts and 14 books long. I got nothing done until I finished this series. I couldn't put the books down. I loved the characters and couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next with the turn of every page.
I received this book on Wednesday and read the entire book in a days time! I loved it...it was real and very in tune with so many serious circumstances facing all couples in today's world. It was helpful to me in reading the way Kari dealt with her husband's betrayal and her absolute devotion to God's ways and His plan for their marriage was awe inspiring to me...she became a real life hero to me instead of a fictional character. I am off now to see if I can scoop up the 2nd book, Remember. Happy Reading!!

This book was different than what I would read. It makes you think. I like the characters and it shows how religion can be relevent now but by using fictional characters in real problems.
