Loved this book! I stayed up until well after 1am 2 nights in a row to read this book. I debated on whether to list it or not but decided I wanted others to get to enjoy it too. It really kept my attention. The first night I was tired and thought I would only read a chapter or two and before I knew it I was half way through the book and had to force myself to put it down. It has a great romance plot and the battles they have with God in their spiritual growth are very real even in todays society...letting God have control and trusting Him.
Excellent; fast moving story. This is a must read. MaryLu keeps the suspense going right to the end. Believable and very well written.

THE REDEMPTION is Ms. Tyndalls debut novel and all I can say is Wow. The setting is excellent, the scenery is not overdone. The faith message is expertly woven in throughout, and the characterization is awesome. My only complaint about THE REDEMPTION is that sometimes the events seem a little contrived.
All in all, THE REDEMPTION is a book that will make it to my keeper shelf as it will be a book I will want to read over and over and share with my daughters. THE REDEMPTION is chock full of adventure and romance and is sure to please. Be sure not to miss this book. $9.97. 317 pages.
I liked the book. I'm not going to say I loved it because I really didn't like Charlisse's character much. She was just too "vunerable" for everything--did she not have any common sense at all? BUT I did like Captain Merrick and most of his crew on his ship. I also loved the setting-early Caribbean. I did like the book enough to want to read the next in the series.
Enjoyed this. Looking forward to The Reliance.
Lady Charlisse Bristol sets off on a voyage in serach of a father she never kew, only to find herself shopwrecked on a deserted island. After weeks of combating the elements, her salvation comes in the form of a band of pirates and the fiercely handsome leader, Edmund Merrick. Will Charlisse free herself from the seductive lure of this pirate captain and find the father's love she so ardently craves?
A great clean romance with lots of intrigue. A quick read that is well written.
This book reminded me much of a conglomeration of pirate stories I've read over the years. Not bad, just not original. What I didn't like was that there were a couple of places that seemed over the top and even for a Christian like myself, almost unbelievable, which for me took away from the story's enjoyment.
I loved this book! The descriptions of the characters, the ship, and the ocean were so great that I could picture everything in my mind. A great love story with a some Biblical lessons.
