I just finished this book and it was AMAZING, just had to share. I know there are more than a few people here who would undoubtedly enjoy it. Scalzi did a fantastic job of exploiting some of the more ridiculous conventions of sci-fi television, and at the same time blowing my mind to the point where I caught myself questioning reality a little lol

Redshirts: A Novel with Three Codas

Here's a link to the review I wrote on it. Scalzi himself quoted and linked to the review in a tweet! If anyone else reads/has read the book, I'd love to hear what you think of it!

I'm only about 18% into it but - I'm enjoying - it's a hoot!  They're still trying to figure out "what's wrong with this ship."

That was good, a study in realities.  And I did actually shed a tear come the codas.  Perfect ending(s).  Thank you Mr. Scalzi.

I just finished this book and really liked it.  If you are looking for something with humor and great plot twists, get a copy.

I happened to see the live feed from worldcon, and it looks like Redshirts is the Hugo winner for 2013.

I just finished it, and I loved it! I laughed all thru the beginning, but was completely enthralled by the story. And the ending.
