I loved Red Tent (Anita Diamont), Sarah (Marek halter), and Christ the Lord (anne rice).  Can anyone recommend any other good religious fiction? Im not looking for spiritual, religious stories...just novels based on Bible stories.

Thanks

Haylen

I read Sara by Orson Scott Card.  It was pretty good.  The Red Tent was amazing!

Francine Rivers writes many stories based on the bible.  Redeeming Love is based on Hosea.  She has a Lineage of Grace series that is based on Bible characters, #3 is David and Bathsheba.

Another lesser know author is Roberta Kells Dorr.  I really like her writing.  She wrote two books on Solomon and one on Abraham and Sarah and another on Bathsheba.

I hope this helps!

Sincerely,

Vicki

I like Georgia On Her Mind by Rachel Hauck, The Ashley Stockingdale Trilogy by Kristin Billerbeck, and Susan May Warren books.  Standed in Paradise is another good one. It is usually posted. I have alot of these books on my reviews if you want to take a look.

There is a good inspirational book by the author listed. Its called Texas and has several related stories in the same book. I enjoyed it when I read it and its a hard cover.
