This is a story about Abby Wade Ryan who left her home town vowing never to look back. Sixteen years later, the chance to rebuild her out-of-control life draws her back to the place she always called home, Sweetwater, Oklahoma. Upon returning she realizes that here the past lives on in the present, and she is contantly reminded of the shocking event that changed her home town forever. The characters are a delight; some funny, some will make you angry - - all in all - a good read.
