Cartoons from the "For Better or For Worse" comic strip series. These are collected as a tribute to the family's dog Farley. A must for anyone who loves the comic strip and/or love dogs. Extremely heartwarming. Have your box of tissues handy, and be prepared for numerous laughs as well.

An excellent collection featuring a beloved pet from start to heroic end. The commentary by the author added well to the book. I wasn't sure I wanted a collection of comics drawn from the other books I already had--but it was well worth it. Well chosen, good (and limited) comments from the author, and a wonderful tale of a wonderful dog. A story that is there, but not nearly as coherent, when read amongst all the other strips, but stands very well on its own. Cry from laughing, cry in memory, but have the tissues handy.

A tender tribute to a dog that many of us felt was our own devoted friend. Anyone who has ever loved a pet will appreciate this book.

Classic FBOFW, funny, sweet, touching, and very often, food for thought. An engaging memoir of a Good Dog.
