1. Thought I had seen this somewhere, but am not veteran enough to find it now. (may have just been imagining?)

2.. Did the forum search. Nothing on terms that seem to match my query.

3. I'd like to use my creds to get a book for my dad. Is there a way to redirect the addresss so I don't have to re-ship?

Thanks, y'all!

Yeah on the first page after you click order theres a place where you can specify an alternate address to ship it to.

What Chris said, and...

It also saves your alternate addresses in a drop down box, so you can send to the same person multiple times without retyping the address.

OK, so I'm not totally senile, yet :)

If you're on a wait list, that option's not there, correct? Is there a way to add the alt addresss to an item that's got a wait list?

Thanks to all!

If you make sure the book is not on auto-request, you can choose the alternate address when you accept the wish list offer.

As long as you are not on auto-request for the WL, there will be a button that says "Yes, I want the book. Ship to this address" or something to that effect when the book is offered to you.  Just click on that and give the alternate address.

Thanks a ton, everybody. Some things are intuitive, and I just make them hard :)

Have a great day!
