I just saw a credit was returned for a damaged book I received and the reason under Credit Registry was "Reason: Request Refund".  This is new to me - When did they start actually designating them returned for cause?  Also, was this credit  returned by the sender or by PBS?

Color me confused!

ETA: There is nothing in my club communications that states the sender buddied me the credit, so I can only think it was done by the PBS team.

Now when there is a problem transaction the sender has the option to refund the credit through the TA.  That's probably what happened.

When they changed the buddy system they added the Refund Credit button in the details of a transaction through the TA. You must have had a RWP book and the sender returned your credit through this method. This is a better way than the buddy because it shows the system exactly what book the credit was returned on.

L, it will also show up in the Credit Registry as a Request Refund.  It's pretty nice to be able to see, actually.
