I have been having the Bad Gateway problems, not being able to access My Lists (BIR, TBR etc).  But, now..wishlisted books become available.  I request.  It shows I requested.  Then they get cancelled due to Time-out.   Like I never requested them at all.  So, of course, they are removed from my wishlist, and when added again, I am last in line.  2 books in 2 days.

Send a message to PBS - tell them what happened. It was out of your control.

I have messaged about the Bad Gateway problems and this issue.  I was wondering if any one else is having this same issue.

Several other threads about the bad gateway messages show users are just hitting the back arrow and clicking again on the function they were wanting to do and it goes through the second time.  Frustrating but not a deal breaker.

And if I understand you, the 'time-out' usually means the person posting the book did not respond (accept) within the designated time, but you might also mean it times out after the 48 hour period for WL books-- then the issue is with the requestor which in this case is due to system glitches, not your fault.

I have seen the bad gateway page a couple of times, but I haven't had any wish list acceptances fail to go through. Mine worked fine and the book was sent.

If you do get a bad gateway error page, you can just hit refresh, no need for the hit back and click again dance. I verified yesterday that this works in the forums.

It seems like there's one bad server in the cluster that's causing this intermittent error. It started after they moved the site hosting a couple of months ago. It's really annoying, and these issues can be very hard to track down in a large environment when you don't control all the hardware. I hope they find it soon.

The bad gateway problems are a nuisance for sure.  But, when I request wishlist offers and it seems as if I did not request within the time-frame, it cancels my request.  Then when I put the books on my wishlist again, I am last in line.  I contacted PBS days ago about this and still no answer or the books put back on #1 position on the wishlist.

Certainly an error that they should fix.  Hope you get back to first in line soon!

Perhaps while the system is not working for you put W/L books on auto request.
