Is anyone on a Mac and having issues with the Requestor Conditons? I type or paste my message, mark 'yes' to activate and save/ update information and everything disappears. I've tried this several times and nothing seems to help. Any suggestions? This started happening when I downloaded OSX Mavrick 2 weeks ago.

The help section says:

Be sure that you are clicking in the Requestor Conditions area after entering your text.

Be sure that "yes" is checked at the top of the Requestor Conditions area, above the text box.

If you enter text and the text disappears when you click Update:

  • The latest versions of Safari have an incompatibility with text entry on PBS.
  • To enter text into your  PBS Profile, forum sig, Requestor Conditions, or to Post in the forums if you have a Mac, you will need to use another browser.
  • We recommend downloading Firefox, which is a FREE browser available here. Firefox is the optimal browser for viewing and navigating the PBS site.

What browser are you using, Sharon?  Maybe try it with a few different browsers -- Firefox, IE, Chrome.

Or try it again in a few hours -- they are working on stuff behind the scenes right now, and it's possible that it could be affecting your ability to set your RCs.

PBS has been working on changing the text boxes.  We have been switched to the old format as they have been tweeking it, trying to get it to play nicely with more browsers.  This has been making the text box appear, change, disappear, and reappear.  The text box is used in the discussion forums, the profile, and the RC.  You may need to be patient and keep trying.

Firefox also just issued an update.  The new one seems smoother on my Mac.
