LOL..ok..last night I had a request for a book that I am able to send out immediately...so I marked it so...printed out the address info...marked it as shipped...and put it my book bag for mailing on todays visit to the post office.

I haven't even made it to the post office yet this morning and the requestor has marked the book RECIEVED...hence giving me the credit already!

Of course, I will still mail the book today...but isn't that sort of jumping the gun a bit?? I wonder if she hit the button by mistake or clicked on the wrong book.

You're right...it could be that she marked the book received by mistake or it may be a 'forgot to mark mailed' business where a sender forgot to mail the book but mailed anyway, the request was passed along to you so once you marked it mailed, she marked the book received because she got the first copy already.

Like D.G. mentions Tammie, you might want to check on that before sending.  If she has already received a copy, you don't want to mail yours.  Could also be the requester is going on vacation or otherwise going to be unavailable and doesn't want to leave senders hanging around waiting for their credits.  Or just an accident...
