I posted Marley and Me and it was requested immediately.  I was out of town from Dec 25 to Dec 26. I PM'd the requestor telling her I would make sure it mailed first thing this morning. I printed the label, then got a PM from her saying she no longer wanted the book since she received it for Christmas. The request still shows as valid. How do I resolve this without causing a glitch in the system? Thanks in advance for any answers.

Since you have printed the label already but not marked it shipped, I believe you have to have the requestor contact R&R to cancel the order since she was the one that changed her mind.

Actually, you have to cancel the request since you already printed. If she had cancelled before you printed then it would be up to her to cancel it. It will be taken off your bookshelf and you will have to repost it and it should go to the next person in line unless this person still hasn't removed it from their WL.

To keep from losing your place in the FIFO line, when a requestor asks you to cancel the book after you have printed the wrapper, contact R&R and ask them to cancel the book because the requestor wants you to. If you cancel after printing the wrapper, the book is removed from your shelf and you have to repost it, placing you at the end of the requesting FIFO line for that book to be requested again.

That's not really an issue if it's a wishlisted book.
