This has absolutley nothing to do with H/F but with so many clever and wonderful people from all over the country, I am hoping someone can point me in a direction or give me a starting point.  My parents just turned over the family bible to me yesterday and it is in really bad, bad shape.  It was absolutely gorgeous at one point; hand tooled leather cover, gold gilt pages, lots of pages with pictures of "Old Masters" religious paintings.  The bible is about 55 years old and was a real treasure.  The book has some SERIOUS  water damage; wavy and stuck together pages but no mold yet that I can see.  The leather cover is literally falling apart.  I would love to have it restored if possible but I have no idea where to even begin to look for someone who could tell me if this is even feasible.  Any ideas where to begin my search?  Thanks to my H/F buddies in advance!

Cheryl,

I have used this shop for journals. Very nice and honest guys. However, they are not cheap. This would be a good starting point.

Thanks Michael.  This gives me a starting point.
