I've read several resume books, always lured in by the promise of something exceptionally new. However, I'm always disappointed when it's the same old stuff, over and over. This book though is totally new and refreshing! It's great to finally see a resume book that acknowledges that the same format, layout, and typeface works for everyone. The author even recommends that some professions could use vibrant color, graphics, or even format their resume as a tri-fold brochure. Design aside, she has great advice on writing action-oriented statements, cover letters, and more. I am thoroughly impressed. After only a month, I've already tabbed and highlighted tons of this books. Unfortunately, it's that great, I probably won't be listing it on PBS for any time soon! :)
