Death Eric are the biggest heavy metal band in the world. Or at least, they were. Following a freak accident at a show involving a raven, Eric Thrashmettle, front man of Death Eric, decides to take an indefinite hiatus from the world of heavy metal.
Jump start years later, when Eric's two children, Lou and Buddy, discover that their lavish and luxurious lives have been cut short due to a lack of funds. They decide to take it upon themselves to reunite the band for a reunion tour and bring back the metal.
But rounding up lost members seems to be a bit more difficult than Lou and Buddy expected. With the help of a book of fairy-tales and their nanny, Lou and Buddy manage to round up the remaining members of the band-- Fingers Trubshaw and Kenyatta McClatter, the eccentric bassist and drummer who would rather be mowing lawns and serving fish and chips.
The goal is to make it to the big show and have everyone in a twenty-mile radius head-banging until their necks are sore, but will Death Eric be able to pull it off? Will Lou and Buddy retrieve the lost funds? And will Eric Thrashmettle get over his perpetual phobia of scavenging black birds?
Despite what happens, be sure to expect a lot of fun characters and heavy metal references, and an overall fun-for-the-entire-family satire.
Cheers to S.L.
