I moved to a new apartment and I'm six months pregnant - I'm a giant scatterbrain right now lol.

I finally located a book last night and tried to print postage... no ink at home! So I waited until this morning to reprint at work. Only issue is I guess I took too long to mail it because the request is gone! Email from PBS says they cancelled it overnight due to time max.

So will they be returning my postage to me since I cannot reprint the label now? I sent them a message. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this... blush

IIRC the answer is generally no.  But once in a while if you make the request immediately (time seems to be a factor) they can refund the postage.

Thank you, Valerie! I'm very excited!!! (and nervous! lol.)

Denise - you're absolutley right. PBS refunded the postage (YAY!) but advised this was only because I caught on so quickly. Normally they cannot refund. I suppose this is because of money transfer to the USPS, like someone said in the link Valerie posted. Makes sense.

Anywho, I'm glad it worked out! I love this website, everyone is always so helpful. laugh

Next time, best thing to do is mark the book mailed. Then print out your label and mail it the next day. Glad it worked out this time for you.
