Don't let the title fool you. The essays in this book are very readable; that is, most are written in a style that is plain, straightforward and highly interesting. Many different writers have contributed essays that cover such topics as Latin and Caribbean immigrants; faith, befief, humbleness and transformation; faith and politics; snake handlers; perspectives on evagelization; African theology; a faith journey incorporating a gay perspective. There are more essays, written to challenge your intellect and perspectives, whether you agree or not with these writers' point of views.
